In Uruguay the Public Translator University Degree is awarded upon completion of a four-year university course and only for the following languages: English, French, German, Portuguese and Italian.
For other languages, in case translations are needed for official purposes, Foreign Language Experts registered with the Uruguayan Public Translators Association collaborate with Public Translators.
