I) PERMANENT IMMIGRATION PROCEEDINGS FOR MERCOSUR NATIONALS (MEMBER STATES AND ASSOCIATED STATES) AND FOREIGNERS WHO ARE RELATIVES OF URUGUAYAN NATIONALS. IMMIGRATION PROCEEDING FOR NATIONALS FROM: The proceeding shall be conducted with the National Bureau of Migration. Required documentation: For the purposes of these proceedings, the following documentation shall be required: a) Identity Document (National Identification Document, Identity Card or Passport). b) Certificate of Criminal Background Check issued by your country of birth and countries of residence during the last 5 years (more than one certificate may be needed, depending on your case); requirement applicable only to people aged 18 or older. c) Apostilled or Legalized Birth Certificate. It must have been issued not more than one year before application. d) Apostilled or Legalized Marriage Certificate (if applicable). e) Uruguayan vaccination certificate: to obtain such certificate, you must be up to date with vaccines in your country; the certificate should indicate the date on which vaccines were received (measles and tetanus vaccine for people born after 1967 and tetanus vaccine only for people born before 1967). If you do not have such certificate you shall be vaccinated in Uruguay. f) Occupational Health Card: not required for the moment for this proceeding. g) Identity Card photograph. |

II) PERMANENT IMMIGRATION PROCEEDINGS FOR ALIENS FROM COUNTRIES OTHER THAN STATES PARTIES OF MERCOSUR AND ASSOCIATED STATES: The proceeding shall be conducted with the National Bureau of Migration. Required documentation: For the purposes of these proceedings, the following documentation shall be required: a) Identity document (National Identification Document, Identity Card or Passport). b) Certificate of Criminal Background Check from your country of birth and countries of residence during the last 5 years (more than one certificate may be needed, depending on your case); requirement applicable only to people aged 18 or older. Such certificates are usually valid for 6 months as from issuance, unless other validity period is indicated. Certificates of Criminal Background Check must be apostilled or legalized (depending on the country of issue), except for online certificates of criminal background check bearing an electronic signature and a verification code;). c) Apostilled or Legalized Birth Certificate: It must have been issued not more than one year before application d) Uruguayan vaccination certificate: to obtain such certificate, you must be up to date with vaccines in your country, the certificate should indicate the date on which vaccines were received (measles and tetanus vaccine for people born after 1967 and tetanus vaccine only for people born before 1967). If you do not have such certificate you shall be vaccinated in Uruguay. e) Occupational Health Card, issued by public or private healthcare providers, authorized by the Ministry of Public Health. f) Documents evidencing that your income exceeds your living expenses and how do you receive your income in Uruguay: we will issue a Notarial Certificate accordingly. g) Migration Certificate. h) Identity Card Photograph. |

III) TEMPORARY IMMIGRATION PROCEEDINGS: with the National Bureau of Migration: FAST TRACK PROCEEDINGS FOR COMPANIES With the aid of Uruguay XXI: summary proceeding for workers, employees, directors and shareholders of companies installing in Uruguay. For the purposes of these proceedings, the following documentation shall be required: a) Identity Document. b) Certificate of Criminal Background Check from your country of birth and countries of residence during the last 5 years; requirement applicable only to people aged 18 or older. Such certificate must be apostilled or legalized (depending on the country of issue), except for online certificates of criminal background check bearing an electronic signature and a verification code. c) Apostilled or Legalized Birth Certificate: It must have been issued not more than one year before application. d) Uruguayan vaccination certificate: to obtain such certificate, you must be up to date with vaccines in your country; the certificate should indicate the date on which vaccines were received (measles and tetanus vaccine for people born after 1967 and tetanus vaccine only for people born before 1967); if you do not have the vaccines you must be vaccinated in Uruguay. e) Occupational Health Card, issued by public or private healthcare providers, authorizedby the Ministry of Public Health. f) Notarial certificate evidencing your income or relationship with the company and all the company´s data, if aplicable. g) Migration Certificate. h) Identity Card Photograph. i) Labor Contracts and Salary receipts, if aplicable. i) Letter from the company in an established form, requiring temporary residence for two years in case of RT Fast Track. j) Letter from Uruguay XXI. |
